This website showcases my three main area of focus when it comes to music, Production Music which is music that I have specifically written for use within TV, Film or similar media applications, Retro 50’s and 60’s style music and another love of mine Melodic dance music. Although to some these three areas of music may be quite different the thing that they all have in common is melody. When I was much younger I can remember staying up late [ on the weekends ] listening to my parents old vinyl 45’s, artists such as Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran and of course Elvis all became firm favourites of mine and I guess that is where I picked up my love for a catchy tune. As I got older I then started to listen to Synthesizer based music such as OMD, The Pet Shop Boys and dance producers such as Sash. Even classical and Opera has a place in my CD collection and I can on some occasions be caught listening to Sarah Brightman or other Opera or Classical music acts [ I have to put my hands up and admit I am not exactly an expert on that style of music ] .
I have tried to keep the Production music, Retro and Dance projects separate on this website so if you have a particular interest in a specific genere of music it should be fairly easy for you to focus in and see what I am up to. I can compose in a varying number of styles however if you listen to the MP3 players contained within the pages of this site you will see quite clearly the areas in which I specialise.
